The Paradox

{November 25, 2009}   End of Academic Year 2009

I am so looking forward to my holidays.

This year has been a mixture of good, wow, wonderful as well as exhausting. Really really exhausting. Teaching 5 different groups of children had been no joke and i am so glad that it has come to an end.

As usual, as always, this year the kids came in all sorts of different shapes, sizes and colours. But i must say i learnt alot. I enjoyed myself immensely, renewed my passion for teaching and became a better person. I am also very grateful to all the kids i taught this year for having been patient with me, when i made mistakes along the way and when i was trying to understand them.

Somehow this time round the workload increased, together with responsibilities. My health has definitely been better. Though i crave for a good change, all i want for now is rest.
To rest my mind, my heart, my body and more than anything my soul. Oh but that comes after tomorrow, after 13 hours of non stop work. sigh.

{November 18, 2009}   Dead. I Want Out.

I just cant agree on many things you guys call policy.

You say that you are being fair but who are you trying to kid?

Its a dread to go there and i drag myself every single day.

6 and a half years is a very long time.

I want out.

{November 14, 2009}   Fierce Competition?!

Chanced upon this advertisement and thought it was so cute (and funny).

It’s like mocking not only the competitors but the people who bought the competitor’s products as well.:) So please… if you don’t wanna celebrate Father’s Day, use DUREX.

{November 12, 2009}   My ever first Caesar

Lately people keep telling me how much of weight i had put on. Not forgetting the fact that my pants are getting rather tight fitting. Told myself that from henceforth i would eat more salads and less starch. Darling was at school so i decided to make a salad (in case something goes wrong i could just throw it away and not feel guilty about making him wait and become ever more hungry by the minute. Believe me i thought it was yummy. For a person who simply hates her greens this was awesome. Yeah i do admit…. i added LOTS of cheese and chicken but of course i had my greens as well.

Henceforth i vow to eat more salads.
