its indeed a big world out there. sometimes we get wake up calls or gentle reminders (or rather reminders that are not so gentle to our hearts and ears.).at times we are so cocooned by our own, the happenings and the mishaps that we fail to realise how fortunate we are, or how people out there have it worse then us. we may think or compare ourselves to people in Somalia or China or Afgan and think we are more blessed as we are more stable financially. but we forget that even our closest friends may be going thru heart wrenching turmoils and are on the brink of suicide. a wake up call on a saturday morning told me that i am very lucky and that things are not that bleak or in fact not bleak at all compared to the life of a close fren. my heart ached for her, and i wish i could do something to take away her pain. i can imagine the dull ache in your heart for the rest of your life for the person you love like crazy but knowing very well you have lost them forever. no matter how much you cry, pray and back for them to be back in your arms, God had chosen to take the person back to him under his care.
On a second note i am happier, as now i have come to a realisation that i have simply no excuse to cry and complain about my life.i am beginning to see my losses as my blessings and my sufferings as an invaluble lesson and God as a watcher. Once again as always he reminded me of happiness.

Been crazy about poems ever since i took English Literature for my A levels. A beautiful poem i came across yesterday while surfing. A poem by E.E.Cummings…. its a treat to one’s heart and soul….for me it was love at first sight.

People, experiences and knowledge opens us up to new prospects and interests. Things that we overlooked as we walk pass thme once a upon a time may be things that we search for today. Thanks to my pals May & Margaret i have found a new interest….stones…. not just any stones but gemstones.
I used to admire them for their vibrant colours and exotic shapes before but now i have learnt to appreciate them more after knowing their individual properties or rather “healing powers”. One might be sceptical about their prowess but then again seeing is not always believing and vice versa.
My collection is slowly increasing….Yes it does burn a hole in my pocket but at the end of the day all that surrounds me is peace and serenity. Some of which i would like to share that i feel is really……… really something
- Rose Quartz – great for attracting love. Promotes self-loving and heals emotional wounds as well as promoting peace, forgiveness, and nurturing.
- Agate – general protection and healing, increases courage, self-confidence, and energy and promotes longevity. Also good for gardening.
- Amethyst – increases vivid dreams, relieves depression, promotes calm, serenity, and spirituality. Helps with addiction and stress.
- Aquamarine – improves sight, sharpens the mind, calms and clarifies emotions.
- Citrine – helps digestion and aids in mental and intellectual functions. Increases self-esteem and energy. Balances and dissipates negative energy.
- Diamond – manifests abundance. Used in conjunction, it strengthens the properties of other stones.
One might not believe in their so called healing powers but using them for aesthetic purposes will just be a way to kill two birds with a stone

No one can be happier than me when you placed the engagement ring on my finger…..
I started missing you more and was ever more crazily in love with you.
I wanna tell you that 3 years is a long wait and all i ever want is to wake up beside you every morning, prepare your meals, iron your clothes and kiss you good night.
I wanna smell you and taste you and feel you beside me every night.
I know that the things are i say to you hurt you and i am sorry. All i wanna do is to get your attention and shout out loud that i love you, need you and miss you.
I know that i can be stubborn and that some things that i say confuse you. Maybe i am not doing a good job of communicating with you.
i remember every little thing you did for me…. the night you came to my house to give me food as you knew that i would not have eaten, the time you stood by my side when i was down with food poisoning, the time you looked at me in fear and concern when i fell into the deep deep sea, and how you got up in the wee hours of the morning to tend to my aching legs, and how you fed me when i refused to eat. The trouble you took to pick the engagement gifts for me. And how you stroked my hair at the movies.I remember my love.
You are my angel who is ever ready to forgive me and believe it or not that makes me feel even more lousy…..
