The Paradox

Met my dearest yesterday or rather he picked me up after tuition at Boon Lay Garden.

Went for lunch and were just walking aimlessly when he approached a staff at Citigems and asked to see their collection of wedding bands. When i approached the display, my eyes immediately fell on a wedding band…. with 3 diamonds embedded inside it. Beautiful and practical…. an everyday wear. He liked it too! Yippeee…….!!!After hearing the price, he didnt even bat an eyelid but agreed that it was really nice.  Woooweee…………..!! Can’t wait to wear it.

More importantly i saw my boyfriend from another point of view through this short period of time. For a person who had not worked for many years, i personally felt that the money he had to pay for the ring was exhorbitant. However he wanted me to wear the ring despite that. Once again, he touched me deep down.

The much awaited March holidays are finally here. The much awaited is not an exaggeration as i have been waiting…. waiting since 1st January o7. To add more meaning to it, i met the boyfriend and spent a blissful day with him.

 Went to watch the “Pursuit of Happyness”… and yes no spelling error in the word “Happyness”.   Will and Jaden Smith stole the limelight in the movies. Was truely a movie that left me pondering many issues that was facing myself. Will, who never once screamed at his son,comtemplated suicuide as a way to escape the mores that they were facing, who cried silently beside his sleeping child.. away from the eyes of the public. However the person who got my outmost attention throughout the entire movie was Jaden the little boy who never demanded a single toy or sweetmeat from his fathe but faithfully tagged along.

 After the show was lunch at Esplanade’s Thai Express. Food was fantastic… the glass noodles and honey chicken rice.The drinks….. (2/10). Enough said.

 Lunch was over when the search for wedding bands started.We spent about 45 minutes and that alone left me very tired.

When the day came to an end, we both left with a smile on our faces…. Not coz the day turned out beautifully but because we were together……………
